Getting started with Queue Watchdog

Queue Watchdog is an easy and great solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that provides you real-time notifications, ensuring you are instantly informed when a Job Queue encounters an obstacle, allowing you to take swift, proactive action. It’s easy to sign up and get started, and there’s no need for complex integrations, as Queue Watchdog is already fully integrated into Business Central.

You can always get help with your subscription from your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central partner.

Queue Watchdog typically involves two different user roles – regular user and admin:

  • The user: the user on which the Job Queue Entries are run
  • The admin: configures Queue Watchdogs and defines notification recipients

Two Permission Sets are available in the system, for the above roles:

  • QW-USER PWR - for the user
  • QW-ADMIN PWR - for the admin

Free trial using your own company

Important

The free trial option is only available for Business Central online.

If you are considering a subscription, you can try out Queue Watchdog for free for a 30-day trial period. To do this, simply go to Microsoft AppSource and search for APPower Queue Watchdog. Select the related link and then select Free Trial in the upper left corner. This will install Queue Watchdog, which is then ready for activation and setup.
