Business Functionality

To get started simply define the Queue Watchdogs and set the parameters for each of them. Once you've done that, you can start getting the benefits of the solution.

Whenever a task in the job queue reaches the status for which you have defined a watchdog, notification subscribers will be notified immediately. Thus, they can react and take the corrective action to restore the job queue entry as necessary.

Notification subscribers can be alerted throug two channels:

  • by Email
  • by Role Center notifications

Each subscriber can have one or both notification methods set.

With the ability to set one watchdog as the default, all newly created job queue entries are automatically handled by it.

You can also use an auto-recovery feature that allows you to automatically restart job queue entries that have stopped with an error.
